An alarm that false-triggers twice a week gets switched off within a month, and then nothing is protected at all. Most false alarms come from sensor placement: facing a sunlit window, above a radiator, or on the route the neighbour’s cat takes. I place detection around the actual entry routes and the way you actually live.

Scope of work

  • Intruder alarms for homes, shops, warehouses and workshops
  • PIR, curtain and pet-immune motion detectors
  • Door and window contacts, and glass-break detection
  • Perimeter beams for yards, gardens and open ground
  • Internal and external sounders with their own backup battery
  • Notification by call, SMS and app
  • Remote arming and disarming by fob, keypad or phone
  • Partitioning: arm one part of a building while another is in use
  • Standby battery so the system survives a power cut
  • Integration with CCTV and the smart home system

Standards and equipment

  • 01 Standby battery rated for at least twelve hours without mains
  • 02 Detector cabling run in protected routes, out of reach
  • 03 Every detector walk-tested with the client present before handover
  • 04 Sensitivity set for the real site conditions, not left at factory defaults
  • 05 A separate user code for each family member or member of staff
  • 06 Hands-on training in arming, disarming and clearing a false activation

False alarms are the real problem

A detector facing a window, sitting above a heat source or in an airflow path will cry wolf. Placement follows a site walk, and if you have a pet the detector is chosen for it.

A power cut does not disarm you

Standby battery is part of the system, not an upsell. Pulling the meter is the oldest way to defeat an alarm, and a system without a battery has no answer to it.

You actually get told

A loud siren helps little in a village where everyone is out at work. Alongside the sounder, the system calls and pushes a notification so you know wherever you are.

What drives the cost

There is no fixed price on this page, because without seeing the site any number is a guess. These are the things that set the estimate:

  • Number of protected points, floor area and how many ways in the building has
  • Wired or wireless detection
  • Whether the yard and open ground need perimeter cover
  • Notification level: sounder only, or call, SMS and app
  • Integration with existing cameras and automation

This service covers Gurab Zarmikh, Soumeh Sara, Tulam Shahr, Ziabar, Marjaghal, Kasma, Hendekhaleh, Taher Gurab, Nargestan, Gurabpas and the surrounding villages.

Frequently asked

My alarm keeps false-triggering. Can it be fixed?

Almost always, and usually without replacing the whole system. The common cause is placement: facing a sunlit window, above a radiator, or in the path of an air conditioner. Sometimes sensitivity has been left at the factory setting, or the detector was never the right one for a house with a pet. A site visit normally identifies it in the same appointment.

Contact

Describe the job and I will take it from there

One short call is usually enough to establish what the work is, how long it takes and roughly what it costs.

Call for an accurate estimate. If I am on a job and miss the call, I ring back as soon as I am off the ladder.
